Where's the beef?

I know this isn't a typical site.

But, for example, if I goto any fan site dedicated to a game (be it Q3, Tribes, Pong) I find a list of new information pertaining to the game, mods, tournaments, etc. This is updated everyday.

At Garagegames' front page I don't see too much of that.

How about picking a game/mod developed for Torque and highlighting it for a week.

You need better PR.

Wow, that was a snap judgement.
I don't think gg.com is doing that at this point because there isn't enough to show. There are many projects, but most have just started, and there aren't really enough to feature one a week for very long. THey will probably do something like this once there's something more to show.

I'd have to agree with Evan. I think the .plans and forums do well enough on providing new info/news right now.

The reason most of the fan sites dedicated to particular games are 'up to date' is due to them being paid by the hosting networks to keep them pushing for new content daily (such as Gamespy, MGON, etc.). Inactivity = termination, they're not going to waste the space and bandwidth on a dead site. Plus fans have alot more time on their hands. ;)
