RTS Start Kit with TSE?

I'm working on a an RTS, and I would like to use some TSE features. Is it possible to merge the RTS Starter kit in TSE to get the RTS specific feature into TSE?

    Hi Nicolas,

    This one has been asked quite a bit. In short, it shouldn't be too tough, but nobody has tried it yet (or, if they've tried, they haven't reported the results).

    Successfully merging the current version of TSE with the RTS code shouldn't be too awfully tough. After TSE Milestone 2, when the TSE terrain changes, there'd be a bit more work involved, but still nothing too crazy. We plan on demonstrating this ourselves at some point, but that may not be for quite awhile. In the mean time, there's a good chance somebody from the community will do it.

    So, if you are interested in making a shaderific strategy game, that should be quite feasible with TSE and the RTS Starter Kit. If you tackle the merge, please let us know how it goes and feel free to ask questions about it in the private RTS Starter Kit forums.

    I'll keep you tuned, but in the mean while, I've very new to Torque, and even if I'm a veteran in the game industry, it will certainly take me at least 3 months to feel really comfortable with torque!
