Sound on Mac OS X?

Hey everybody,
I just purchased the TGE and am more than satisfied with it! I have had NO problems whatsoever working on my game, except for this one... There is NO sound on TGE! Not on the demo, not on the starter project, no sound at ALL!!! Let me lead you through the delema...

Specifics:
-Power Mac G4 1.25 GHz
-ATI Radeon 9200 pro
-TGE indie license
-Mac OS 10.3.7

So... I try out the starter.racing and am AMAZED with the grea framerates, graphics, and simplicity of the tools. When I launch up the app, however, a diolgoue pops up saying "OpenAL audio system failed to initialize.". So I do a quick Google search for the latest OpenAL drivers installer for Mac OS X. I find it, it was released on September 13th, 2004. I download and install. I restart my computer. I launch TGE again. NO "OpenAL audio system failed to initialized" WINDOW POPPED UP! YAY! So I go into the starter.racing and... SURPRISE SURPRISE! NO SOUND AT ALL! (Yes, I do have my speakers and sound on full-blast...)! People, please help me with this. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it? I wouldn't make my game pc-only for $1000 bucks. I also wouldn't release my game for mac without sound for $1000 bucks! Please help! I will give you credit in my game!
