Just an idea

Ok i dont have any map maker programs or anything so i cant show you how it would look but heres my idea anyway :

its a map that based on a city or urban invironment . there are building and roads etc the whole place is very brooding and shodowy . the paths are coblestone the building are some other stone looking structures with some wood. the map has plenty of chances for ambushes and pitched battles and it is night. as it is an urban environment there are no tree's or natural vegetatoin just buildong after building or stone .
there maybee city walls around the outside and watchtowers dotted at points around the city walls acessable from the top of the walls. these would be good to snipe from .

could this be done ?
any comments i would welcome .

This could be done, and in fact you could do it yourself by using the Torque Mission Editor that is built into the program if you wanted to test it out.

Yeah . problem is that im still figuring out how to place items etc on the maps . i have the terrain moddeling down its just the placeing items thats weird. i looked in the manual thing on here and it wasnt much help . i dont seem to have the same toolbar for the mission as they do. but i could try anyway ...

Ok i worked out the item placeing thing. i was useing the wrong part .
the only thing i need to know is how to save things . everytime i try and save it in mission with .mis on the end it tells me that its a read only . i tryed it with two other ending and it changed them both to .ter and said the same thing . could anyone help me with this ?
