GG Games in Computer Gaming World

Has anyone seen the newest issue of Computer Gaming World?

They did a review of 'free or almost free' games on the Web. A number of Garage Games games were mentioned, including links to websites.

Pretty cool!

Don't have a way to do that, sorry. It's also spread out over a number of pages.

Jay,

It's the January issue. Has the Matrix Online as the main cover page splash.

You should definately check it out. I don't remember all the games mentioned - and some mentioned go directly to the developer website (EG, Think Tanks link is bravetree.com), but some I remember are Gish, Think Tanks, and Aerial Antics.

GG should send them a thank-you note :)

They are all in a group together on page 70 - Aerial Antics, Gish, Think Tanks, and Chain Reaction. Think Tanks has a nice screen shot.

Very disappointing that CGW decided to omit several other great games made by this community. I do feel rather insulted though that they couldn't take a few seconds to mention them, but I guess thats another reason why I don't read CGW.

Hey atleast it may get more people to explore the site and find some other goodies like Lore.

I think I like Computer games and computer gaming world best of the PC gaming mags. they tend to have actual articles that are worth reading rather than the usual boring previews and reviews and 60% adverts you normaply find in PCGamer. PLus they generaly have less bias in favour of the big boy publishers and developers.
