Anyone in the Portland, OR area?

I moved up here to Portland, OR recently and am looking for fellow game making enthusiasts in the area to possibly get together on some project. If you're anywhere near me, please let me know.

(Edit: DOH. You're with TSRR, heh. Forgot that. I feel like an idiot now. Offer still stands tho...)
I wonder how many ppl in the Eugene/Springfield area have licensed TGE? It would be interesting to get together and have a mini-con, just to get to know the competitors that are (almost literally) right next door.
I would be willing to host such a thing... mebbe billiards and beer (assuming everyone is of age of course) in my garage after Thanksgiving? Anyone else in driving range of Eugene/Springfield interested?

If you guys have a mini-con, let us know. I'm sure we would like to swing by. Some day, I would like to have a real "con". Going to Tribescon in Portland was a blast.Jeff Tunnell GG

Heh, thanks Zear. :) A mini-con sounds great. I'm taking the wife and kids up to Seattle over Turkey-day weekend (visiting my folks), but I have no out of town plans from there on out. Float me a line if you get a shindig going.--Sty

Well the more portlanders that come out of the woodwork the better. I am sure many feel the same way about working with people close vs. across the internet.-also a portland boy

I've gotten 4 emails from people around the portland area that are interested in doing a game. I'm sure we would all make it down there as well.
Maybe we could have it in Salem so we all have to drive about the same amount?
just a thought.

Mostly just a way for people nearby to get together and get to know each other. I wasn't really thinking lan-party. If anyone is interested in something like the following, let me know at zear@tribalwar.com:
- Dec 1st. (mebbe carry over to the 2nd)
- I'll provide a late lunch/early dinner (burgers or BBQ chicken, etc.) and some munchies.
- Play pool. Listen to music. Talk about Torque, games, and whatever comes up.
- BYOB
- I have plenty of parking (prolly 10-15 cars), but if you need to stay the night, you'll prolly end up sleeping on the floor - my house isn't that big...
If you want to show off what you are up to, that would be cool, but I have to admit there isn't really room for more than about 7 more computers (mebbe 11 if a couple people bring some of those big folding tables), and I don't have anything better than a 4 port 10baseT hub. It might be better to just bring files, I dunno. This is why I dinna suggest a full-on lan party. :]
Of course, if someone in Eugene/Springfield has more appropriate digs for something like a real lan party, that'd be cool too.
What do you all think?

Actually, my thought was simply a get-together. Since I don't have the money or time to do the full-on con thing, I was suggesting just hanging out in my garage and playing pool (does that make it a Garage Game? :)Mostly just a way for people nearby to get together and get to know each other. Sounds good to me. I'm up for whatever or whenever. Still wish I was able to hit the Tribes-con in Portland this past year. I was going to go with Gangreen but I ended up in Newport that weekend. Had to choose between satisfying my 'geek-tooth' at Tribes-con or a weekend alone with the wife. I think the choice was an obvious one. lol. But I had always wondered why we never had a Tribes-con (or any con for that matter) in Eugene, it being the birth place of Tribes and all. I'd offer to host one, but it'd get mighty uncomfortable in my woodshed. :D Heh
