Help With Pathed Interiors

Oh no! Not another "I want working doors & elevators" thread! ;-)

I've seen several threads and a few resources regarding various mover-like functions. But I'm not sure which one I should use and I can't get the one that seems the most reputable to work.

I'm trying to use Mark Harmon's Pathed Interiors resource with David Potter's update.

It may very well work just fine, but I can't seem to get the patch to work. Don't laugh too hard, but how am I supposed to use this patch thingie in the first place? I've tried some commands from a command prompt but I'm really just shooting in the dark.

Does anyone know if this updated resource works with TGE 1.3? (The resource states that it should be applied to a HEAD release from several months ago.) Has anyone seen a non-patch description of how to integrate this into Torque? (I'd much prefer that as it would be a great lesson for me.)

Furthermore, I'm not sure how to implement such tricks in either Hammer or QuArK. If & when I get this added to Torque, does anyone know of a good tutorial for implementing this resource in an interior? I read about David Potter's PathedInteriorsTutorial.zip, but that tutorial seems to have disappeared.

I'd really appreciate any help getting up and running here. Thanks guys. :)

(For the record, I'm most interesting in getting lifts working in interiors.)
