If you have the same user interface like the one with big chrome "G" and it has "Torgue Game Engine" in the title bar, just like in "The Essential Guide To Tourgue" by Ed Maurina that is a pdf doc in the Getting Started section of the GG site.
The interfrace is shown in the Introduction.pdf of that guide and is on the first page and in the first picture.
Is that the way the engine is supposed to start and how can I get mine to start that way.
I have had this game engine for about 10 days now and I am disgusted with it at this point.
Need help badly.

Also when I press F11 my cursor draws itself over and over where ever I put the mouse, it is like drawing with the mouse in mspaint.
If I press F2 I get nothing same as with f4,5, 6 Iget f9 iget but this is intermitent I get them only once in a while.
I have a good hp pent III with 60gig
GeForce420MX with the latest drivers that support DirectX and OpenGL.
I have been trying to do the tutorials as directed but I am hindered because of these problems. I can't get through the tutorials.
Any Ideas about these problems.

FYI, I've posted a small ammount of info on the upcoming EGTGE Volume I here. I must aplogize for the fact that the free version of the guide is out of date. I'm very busy making sure that the for sale version of this will cover the latest features and correctly.
Well, best of luck. Stick with it. I think you'll find your time well worth the investment.

@ Steven - I'm seriously behindin responding to e-mails and in general trying to live up to the privledge of being an associate. I'm sorry to hear that you've been having a tough time of it. My suggestion, if you have not already solved your issues is to get the TGE installer and use that as your base. That kit works quite well out of the box.FYI, I've posted a small ammount of info on the upcoming EGTGE Volume I here. I must aplogize for the fact that the free version of the guide is out of date. You should probably start with the tutorials on this site first, as they are closer to the version you're using. When you have a better grasp of the concepts, you can move on to tutorials like EGTGE by Ed, which are great, but may not be completely up to date visually, even if they still apply.
Another thing you can do is buy Ken Finney's "3D Game Programming All In One", and follow the tutorials in there, which are great.
And, since I'm on a roll, don't forget to use the search function for these forums, since just about everything has been covered here several times over.
