Alt-C Turns Screen White in New RTS Version

Anyone else loaded up the new version and tried Alt-C yet?
When I do everything the camera sees is white. This is from a stock installed RTS Kit - no mods what so ever.

It's because the camera starts out below the ground. Go into the editor, right click, and move the mouse - you should see something above you. Use the arrow keys (not WASD) to move. Naturally, you can rebind all the keys if you _do_ want WASD to move you. You can't look with the mouse when you're in the PlayGui because it's using the mouse cursor.

On a slightly different note. In the type of game where we want to switch back and forth between RTS view and FPS view can you give a quick synopsis of why we can't (or shouldn't) just use the RTSCamera moved to a low to the ground (i.e. eye height) view with altered camera controls?
I think I rememebr reading something about the RTSCamera being way different but can't seem to find it again.
