Terragen question

by Rodney (OldRod) Burns · in Torque Game Engine · 11/08/2001 (12:27 pm) · 3 replies

I've seen people talking about making skyboxes with Terragen, but that you have to set the camera FoV to 90 degrees. I can't see a way to do this in Terragen. Where is that setting?

Thanks!

*edit* Never mind, I found it =)

Well, I still have a problem.

Placing the camera at the exact center of the landscape, I rendered 6 images. One looking straight north, straight east, south, west, up and down.

When I run the sky in Torque, the sky looks like I expected pretty much, but the seams of the images are quite visible. What am I doing wrong?

did you set the zoom/magnification to 1? -->this will make the edges meet

Hehe, yeah I messed up. I set it to 90 thinking it was 90 degrees, but it was actually .90, so it wasn't exactly 1 and looked off. It's working now, thanks =)
