Hi,
I am currently looking for a 3D artist willing to work on a pay per model basis. Work will include character creation but will mainly focus on weapons, vehicles and outdoor structures.
If anybody is interested, please send me an email with an estimated price for the following.
A guard tower (as seen in prisons etc.)
It should be fully textured and you must be able to interact with it. (e.g. climb ladder). Model should should be provided in 3 levels of detail. No polygon count is specified but use your own judgement here.
Concept art will be provided.
If you have any samples then please send them along.
Andy

I only wish more developers realize this IS a business oportunity and decide to invest in order to make a profit out of it.
Maybe some day we can have an open market of per contract coders, level designers and 3d artists working for several companies and making a living out of it =)
I know Im probably day dreaming but it is a nice dream.

Good move, Im really glad someone is taking this as a business and willing to pay for a quality service, instead of trying to get hard work for free. I only wish more developers realize this IS a business oportunity and decide to invest in order to make a profit out of it.
