If your connecting to a game, it's not a problem with the master server. Which version of the SDK are you using? You may be trying to connect to a non-compatible server. Several servers have been modified and you cannot connect to them.

If your running 1.0, then you should be able to connect to the "WaterWorld" server.

I have a 1.0 SDK server running called "WaterWorld Server", if your running the CVS head version of the SDK, you won't see this server in you server query list, this is because the lastest version only queries the server for the new "Test App" game type. I also changed the protocol #, which will filter out old servers as well.

I've posted a little on another thread about our not release the master server for a while.

Nope I was trying to connect to our server using our client, and I hadnt changed any of the server parameters.

and we are using 1.1

Tim it's not filtering servers right. I saw your v12 waterworld server, and a crime force demo server both gametypes != test app =P

hmm, that's wierd Adrian, someone else reported a "bad protocol version" connection error when trying to connect up to his own server. Does the server display any messages on the console, like client xxx connecting, dropped, etc ?

Matthew, the filtering was added later, if your not using the head revision from cvs, you'll see all servers.
