Billboards

Having an issue with the billboard flags. My flagged 2d-sheet seems to only show up if using lower case "bbz::" but, it's static, no billboard? Using BB (or bb for that matter) results in missing/invisible mesh? Any idea's?

Thanks, Eric

I've noticed it acting a tad oddly. I was gonna test it out a bit this week when I had some spare time and report to Matt Summers if I find out anything useful.

For the moment use the old gamespace exporter, its works fine for billboards.

If I remember correctly, I think BBZ didn't work on the first version? I'll have to check that out. Thanks Craig, I forgot about the first version:)

I've had billboards working for the tree pack conversion that I did for Bravetree content packs. Check to make sure the mesh has a size value in its name and that the detail marker exists for the size level in the object name.

Thanks:) If I do find that I have it set up incorrectly, I'll be sure to post here what I did.

I know your busy with the XSI exporter but, I did find that you have to use capitalized "BB::". As for Z billboards... I still can not get it to work? Not a big deal just thought I'd let you know.

No problem Eric I'll look into it. Try downloading the latest version of the exporter from the resource post and try that version and let me know if it fixes the problem or not. Also are you using GS or TS? What version and service pack do you have installed?

Thanks...

I tested with both- tS 6.6 SP2, gS 1.5 SP1.1 and using the lastest exporter. I still get the same results...

Here's the tS file I tested with-
tS6.6_BBZ_test

Thanks, Eric
