GG Logo?

It looks a bit more 'mainstream' or something ... but I have to say I miss the old one. Why the switch?

Is there a Torque Logo kit? You know with the red 3D 'Ts'. So we can put "Made with Torque" in our startup screens or on websites?

Sorry, Jeff. I saw the mini-banner had been updated and assumed the logo kit was updated also.

I obeyed the image sizing instructions and correctly sized images for each type of product, at 200 dpi.
This is based on the Torque Game Engine psd file from 2004. I could not find Red T's logo or Garagegames logo or I would have gladly done those as well.
I think SOME schwag is better than no schwag, no?
1. I think me going off and spending an hour and uploading this stuff to cafepress, this is agreement with the EULA. In a sense this is living breathing, stinking in your face "splashscreen" for your game, no? Especially if you get the beer stein AND the trucker cap? ;-)
2. If GG staff wants to takeover this cafepress store, I will happily give up the username and password. If you promise to really update it with all the cool logos and art we know you are working on.
3. Someone order some schwag and post back how good or bad it looks in real life. I have to say I am kind of concerned how that Cyan to White gradient in the "swoosh" is going to work. Any white color is supposed to be no-ink (fabric color). I guess it will come out OK.
[edit - I could not find Red T's logo or Garagegames logo (in hi-res image suitable for printing)]

@josh - Good plan. Tim Aste is the new Art Director, right? Maybe I should ask him

Benjamin Bradley, and Peter Dwyer, this is the last place I would have expected to hear about SGI.

Edit: Oh and about the logo. Whatever.

@Alex: nice initiative, but I would have defintely contacted GG about this first, it's their IP afterall and raises all kinds of issues/concerns

@All, I just sent an email to markf@garagegames.com to followup on this. If I get slapped down, no big deal, the cafepress storefront goes *poof*. If GG sends me a bunch of .psd files with current logos- then it could work out really well.

Nice pun!
I like the new logo.
1-It resembles my favorite GG game, MarbleBlast Gold.
2-It helps usher in a new development phase at GG with shader technology and tons of content material and kits.
3-'It just rocks!"
Happy Turkey Day all!
