Getting the video card RAM.

Hi,
Is it possible to get the video RAM on the playing machine? I have looked at all the code that's in the engine so far and it has it's capabilities, and drivers, but no RAM. We need to run another DirectX application at the same time at TGE, but if you have 32Megs of RAM you get an "Out of Video Memory Error" when running both at the same time. If we minimize TGE while the other application is up everything works great (a little slow, but ok). We minimize TGE while the other app is open and then maximize TGE after the other app closes. We need to do this based on how much video ram they have. I.E. only minimize TGE if they have less than 64Megs of Video Ram. Any help is greatly apreciated.
