BlankMission.mis_xxx.ml generated

Hi-,
Last week I downloaded a BlankMission.zip from the net,
I have put the BlankMission.ter/BlankMission_texture.ts and etc to the related directory. I can start the mission
and go around, but the problem is that everytime
I loaded the mission, the BlankMission.mis_xxx.ml file
was created and it is quite random, in the result a lot
of similar files showed up in the mission directory.

I looked into the debug window, it said that it can't
find some kind of texture and then the default texture
being used.

I guess the BlankMission.ter might have the old texture
information in it( not sure), is there a way to get rid
of that problem?

I think the .ml files are just temporary mission lighting files that are created at the map's startup. You can either ignore or delete them, it's your choice, and will make no difference to the program.

Can anyone confirm this please? :)

yeah they are files for mission lighting.

Mark is working on cleaning up the mission editor and one of the new features he's adding is a "new mission" button! Omygosh! Anyway, pretty soon here you won't need a blank mission file.
