Anyone attended Dallas IGDA meetings/events? Like it? Is it a good group for an indie to participate in?

@Jason - We usually do. It seems like it has alot more student developers now that the Guildhall opened up. Also usually some of the Gearbox, Ritual, Terminal Velocity, and Ensemble people are there. In general it's a good place to make connections in the Dallas area. You should come check it out.

@Blake Yes I know of them, I used to read it while working in my Snowcone hut. Got some good places to go looking for a job. But I don't read it as much as I read these forums.

Donald - It's more than just a website, they have monthly meetings where people in the industry meet together. Membership is free and sometimes they even feed you at the meetings ;) I have been to about 5 meetings and they were all really cool.
