What do you mean you dont like selfdamage?

Stop shooting yourself is one way to do it :)

Besides that you can't really hit yourself unless you use radiusDamge.

Don't you think it's only fair that if you drop a grenade in a room with 10 other players that you get some of the pain yourself?

heh, in the real world ya i can see your point, but in my fantasy world , i would like to have the option of disabling it

say your on a quest to to find the pwrsword so you can slay the evil dude that stands between you and the portal to the next world, and you learn the pwrsword lies deep in a cavern with no way down but to jump (cuz you dont have the means of makeing a rope long enough) so you jump down and hit the bottom *splat* hmmm wont get the sword that way, so now your quest takes you looking for the boots of noselfdamage (hehe)

Well you should get my point by now and im not saying thats what iam going to do with it ,,,, and maybe im looking for no fallingdamage??? either way i would like to know how i could disable them

Ahhh, its all clean now.
Well maybe you could use something similar to the Tribes 2 jetpack, only it wont let you fly but it will slow your falling speed, and by doing so let you land with no or little damage.

btw i found what i was looking for (i guess its kinda a no falling damage)

in player.cs around line 570 i changed speedDamageScale to 0, now when i f8 and go way up then f7 and drop i dont do damage when i hit the ground, (this would be very handy for paracute or (heh)magical boots of nofallingdamage. :)

[edit]
oh ya, almost forgot, it dont seem to effect the selfdamage from weapons :)
