Hey everyone,

Here's a temporary home to the GX: Biohazard website.

I didnt write any design docs or anything like that just yet... just put everything that I've worked on for this together in one place. Also, the music (my first attempt at music :o) ) and the overall look and feel of it helps me to better visualize the game.

Also worth mentioning, there is a link to the player model. Contained in the zip file is a DTS version, playable in the Torque demo, and a MS3D version, which you can open and edit, etc. in Milkshape.

So go ahead and download/use it if you like.... but maybe let me know what you plan on doing with it. ^_^

EDIT -- If there are any problems downloading, etc. please let me know.

Thanks, for pointing that out. I hadn't noticed any problems, myself....
If someone can recommend a better host, I'll put up a copy there.

Also, Nathan, try this page here: gxbiohazard.tripod.com/links.html... it might be more reliable.

@Paul - Yes, I would still like them. Perhaps you can compress the files or break them apart.... or maybe upload them somewhere. Thanks.

The files are broken apart, they are only 1.3 mg's compressed, but when you send it in the email the compression is lost, so.... But I can still get you the files through msn. Let me know.

LOL!

That's great, Ian, thanks!

I think he looks pretty good in your game... maybe because he has a real gun and not a crossbow. :)

Thanks again!

EDIT --

I added the screen to the site and increased the brightness/contrast... see this version here.

@C2, I just downloaded it off the site, but go to the html page instead and right-click save the player.zip file. I don't know what's wrong with the Flash button... :/

I didnt mean to let the site die, hehe, I just started working on other things. :P

If someone wants to host the file on a more reliable server go ahead. :) Personally, I haven't had any problems using Tripod.

Please let me know what you plan on doing with it. That's all I ask for giving it away free.

I'm not going to use it for commercial purposes, I just wish to use it as a personal learning tool, and something better to look at than the default Orc. =)
