GuiAviBitmapCtrl replacement

Anyone have a guiAviBitmapCtrl replacement they use for showing cut scenes?

There are some resources that provide at least partial replacements. For instance, there are several windows only versions floating around.

If anyone has sucessfully had this control working, please share!
Ben, does GG have any plans to fix this or should we write it off as a lost cause? I notice in the source code it says it has been disabled.

I've tried the replacement guiAviBitmapCtrl replacement and it does nothing. I had to fix 2 bugs in it (missing quotes) so maybe there are more?If anyone has sucessfully had this control working, please share!

I have both avi on the startup screen and a avi gui that you start with a button.I could upload it here temporary but it will disapear later !

I tried it and works perfectly although I didn't hear any sound. I'll try it again on my home PC tonight.

It should have sound but i made this so fast ,maybe the volume is a little low :)
