Normal maps

Guys I'm trying to make a normal maps for my models to make it more realistic, so my question is: can I apply this kind of textures to my model in 3ds max then export it to TGE without any code modification?

can this happen? will the tge accept that texture?

any information here is Appreciated.

Tge wont accept it as is but would with the shader engine that supports these kinda of maps.

check the code snippets here as I'm pretty sure i've seen them there for the standard tge.

I search but I didn't find anything about tge and normal maps????
