Out of curiosity. How many pollies can torque push? Cause im gettin major lag both when i face one area of the map, and if i pick up certain weapons

I just wondered if anyone knew from running across it in the docs or from someone who tested it.

Well the Hardware does have a limit. But I'm curious in the limit of the renderer. There are a lot of different ways to render geometry to the screen and depending on how you do it will effect the amount of poly's you can draw without any lag. and if Torque does it well enough that all I have to worry about is the hardware, then Great!!I just wondered if anyone knew from running across it in the docs or from someone who tested it.

Unfortunately I don't remember which was what and where it went ;)

Think I read something about drawbacks and lag being cause with using... DTS vs DIF objects... Try looking that up :) I don't know my way around this place yet myself. :)Unfortunately I don't remember which was what and where it went ;)
