Google Ad Sense

Google Ad Sense doesn't seem to view the text in tables.
My site has an applet that outputs "clever" replies to questions on a webpage. The replies are stored in tables. As such, Google Ad Sense only takes into account the subject of the page - that's the only thing that isn't in a table.
Here's an example of the output:

Does anyone have any ideas about how to change the output so that it doesn't appear in a table? I still want it to look good, but I want to be able to put Google Ad Sense on the archive pages. I think the "Groundhog Repellent" ads at the end of the page are hilarious.
