Opera Browser troubles

I have a Java applet at www.fletchergames.com. It's nothing spectacular, but it doesn't get reloaded in the Opera browser for some reason.
When I uploaded a new version, it worked fine in Internet Explorer (though I had to close and reopen Internet Explorer to shut off Java), but it still used a cached version in Opera. I changed the preferences to check for reloading to "always", but still had this problem.
Any idea what's going on?
Also, Opera seems to ignore the body definitions in my style sheet. I just Find|Replaced the body tag into all my documents, but that eliminates the whole point of the style sheet.
