Couple questions

Hi,
I'm still in the 'considering' mode, as I currently have an agreement with Lithtech. It's pi**ing me off more the deeper into the API I get, so I'd really like to move on to a better base.
1: How complete is the included app? ie, is it a playable game or just a minapp with docs for more?
2: What type of input does the worldcraft converter require? I ask this because I find WC deplorable to build with. If the converter uses the .rmf format I suppose I'd be stuck with it. If it requires the .map instead, perhaps other editors would be convertable.
