People selling torque on ebay !!!!

I dont know if youre allowed to sell toque on ebay (but i sierously doubt it) but i found someone on wbay doing it and it contains an almost exact copy of the page that gg is selling the engine on

Contacted eBay re: this, they may have been the ones who took down the auction. Also got us set up with an Intellectual Property owner's account to make it easier to alert them to future violations. Thanks to those who noticed this and pointed it out to us. I hope eBay goes after the sucker - he was selling abuses of their system in his other auctions.

Just searched for torque on my eMule client - yup sure is available for download :/
wonder if anyone would actually develop on it, you think anyone serious would purchase a liscence, so anyone who dl it wouldnt get too far...sigh

If you don't have a license you don't get updates, docs, or forum access, which will be very problematic if you're trying to do anything with the engine... :)

This maybe a mute point but check out the Torrents, 4.3mb pack of all the frogames, arteria and GG items. Anyone know how to stop this blatent slap in the face?

I think the best way to deal with this is for content creators to keep on eye on who is using their packs (maybe with the help of the community). Then publicly name and shame those that try to release games with pirate content.
If you've just spent 2+ years making a game surely you would pay the few hundred dollars for content you've used rather than risk public shaming and a bad reception of the game...

I think the best way to deal with this is for content creators to keep on eye on who is using their packs (maybe with the help of the community). Then publicly name and shame those that try to release games with pirate content.
If you've just spent 2+ years making a game surely you would pay the few hundred dollars for content you've used rather than risk public shaming and a bad reception of the game...
