It is definately a fraud auction and very illegal. All GarageGames need to do is contact eBay, get user information, and then file criminal charges against the person.

Look at what the same guy is selling on E-bay, what a crook :Buyers and Sellers! Ratings matter! If you want to gain people's trust then you need to proove it with good ratings. Usually a transaction will result in a positive or negative rating. However if you purchase this service now. You are garunteed to get good ratings! Every purchase from my store will get you a good rating. If you don't wish to purchase any item from my store then you can buy ratings from me. It's only .00 a rating. You can buy as many ratings as you like. 1 rating per transaction. 10 transactions = 10 ratings. High ratings will make people trust you and that will certify that you are a good buyer or seller. How many auctions have you seen that look too good to be true but didn't buy because of the seller's bad ratings! Don't be a victim of a low (or no rating). Get rated today!

>Dear pricejustice,
>
>So you sell for 50$ an item that's licensed at 100$ ? Torque is normally
>downloaded from GarageGames site AFTER you buy the licence. (I am a licence
>owner myself). I don't believe this is legal.
>
His answer : (here is also it's name)
>From: Shayaan Siddiqui
>
>I am selling my personal copy. Not a pirated version.
>I do not need it. Selling a personal copy is not illegal.
I replied to him that the licence it non transferrable (I believe it's not) and that the fact that he own 9 copy was a bit strange.
Upto GarageGames to take this over.
Anyway this guy seems to make some strange business on e-bay.

This would be a good deal, buy a licence for $100 and make $450. Easy money
Claude-Alain, you are right. The licence is non transferrable.
But sad to say, he is not the only freak on ebay. On Ebay Germany there where some guys selling DirectX.

I reported him to E-bay fraud anyway. Hope they do something quick and kick his ass.
It's maybe a good idea if a few of us report him to e-bay !!

It's chatID correspond to it's e-mail address to which he used to answer my questions.
So we know now if ownership change.
Don't like to do this but the fact that he sell 9 "licence" make me crazy. If he transfert his one legit licence does not matter much, but large scale selling is too much.

Hopefully with litigation and a heafty fine.

I reported him for selling illegal copies of software, but I couldn't have his listing automatically removed because I'm not the copyright owner of Torque. Hopefully GG will see this an nip him in the bud.Hopefully with litigation and a heafty fine.

I and several others on were scammed on e-bay with a similar situation. We all got together and tried to bust the guy But, e-bay and/or paypal is damn slow to respond, they have this long set of procedures before anything is really done. Meanwhile, the asshole just set-up camp under another user name and continued.

The bottom line here is that if this guy s a license holder, he entered into a legal agreement with GG that he is now in breach of.
Regardless of how long it may take eBay to react, I'd think GG could do something since it's 'their' EULA and IP at stake.
Who knows - I'm no lawyer, that's for sure.

I would think (though I could definitely be wrong) that GG would have direct legal recourse in such a matter. The bottom line here is that if this guy s a license holder, he entered into a legal agreement with GG that he is now in breach of.
