Character works in demo, -show tool, but not in RW

Hey all,

I have a character that I've brought into the latest Torque demo, and got it to animate correctly there. I decided to bring the character into RealmWars and see how it looked in there. I threw the player.dts into the RW \orc directory, and loaded it up in the -show tool. I was shocked and amazed that it seemed to work great! When I brought it into the actual game, however, things weren't quite so nice. The character was running in place even though he was standing still, and continued to run no matter what else was going on.

I'm wondering, is there some specific way I need to export the character in order to get it to work in RW? I've seen a few of Britton's posts where he says it's very important to export the ski0 and ski1 objects. I'm not sure if I'm doing this, (I'm posting this away from my dev machine, so I can't check at the moment) could something like that be a problem?

Hopefully the answer is obvious to someone :)

-Spencer

Some people have reported a possible bug in Realm Wars where the players keep running in the idle position. This might be the same problem you are having here.

Thanks, Logan.

FYI, the original Realm Wars characters animate properly. Also, I tried putting my character in a much older version of Realm Wars and he didn't work there either.

So as far as you know, there's nothing special I have to do to put a character in RW? If it works in the demo it should work in RW?
