Okay, here I am...
I'm wondering if anyone has a simple but yet very cool game idea, I'm out of ideas :(
I want it to be a unique idea but I guess my fantasy suck.
Soo... does anyone have a good and unique idea for a game?
I want to make a 2D game with cool physics, just because 2D and physics rock.
And yes, I am doing a 2D game with physics right now. But I want to have another project that I can work on when I don't feel like doing anything for the first project :)
Thanks for any help!

That's ok! Blender is actually pretty easy to figure out(the basics anyway). If I make a demo, I'll post it here later. And, anyone who wants to, can take the idea further, if they find it a good idea.solo.

Yeah, it would be great if you could do that.

Try looking at indie game jam 2004 entries... lots of 2D physics loving in there.

Actually Final Fantasy was heavily influenced by Nordic mythology. You can even find the name 'Odin' and 'Shiva' in Nordic mythology. And even 'Midgaard', though I don't remember the exact spelling to that name - I've seen several different variations on different MUDs, I've forgotten the proper way its spelled.
I don't usually try to force myself to come up with ideas... I wait and let my imagination, over time, define my overall idea. I may come up with a small idea, do something with it.. and a week or a day, possibley hours later I may build upon that idea with something else that pops in my head. Whether I'm watching a movie, playing a game, or listening to some music, my imagination is always ticking and I tend to come up with a lot of, what I think, are good ideas. Once I get what I think is a solid idea then thats when I sit down and start defining the specifics. In my opinion, the design and concept phase can't be rushed.

Also this thread has been great, I have seen how a lot of people come up with their ideas.

Just let time help you, but if you really want to do something quick I think a brainstorm of ideas is the best way (as someone suggested here I think).
