Demo Minimised & Doc whinge

Hi I have just started playing with the demo and somehow managed to minimise it on the taskbar. I can now not un minimise it, Even if I end the task and restart the demo it starts minimised. I am Running XP, what must I do?
Also while I'm here I would like to have a little whinge (seems to be something that all those new do). Documentation work needs to be done, it shouldn't be that hard to be introduced to the basic engine workings. As an example under "Getting Started" "Using the Torque Demo Application" it tells me I need to purchase the product before I can see the documentation on using the demo!
A nice little walk through that's all I'm after, nothing flash, something that tells me I need to press F11 while in the demo games to start playing around, something that could put the scripts under headings so it's not so daughting the 1st time.
I don't' mean to come across harsh, I really like the look of all the engine can do but don't think the much spoken of "steep learning curve" needs to be that steep. You shouldn't have to search the forums to find out how to use a demo.

Thanks for your response, it is currently set to normal window though if I change it to Maximised it opens up but with a 1cm gray scale like bar down the right hand side.

1 - Right click on a "blank" location of your task bar. (aka not on any other program or other icon that might be there)
2 - Select "Cascade Windows"
This should reset the window to somewhere on the desktop that you can see it.
Hope that helps.

I am not sure if its your problem or not, but I have seen applications default location be placed off the screen resulting in it always appearing like its "minimized". So give this a try and see if it helps:1 - Right click on a "blank" location of your task bar. (aka not on any other program or other icon that might be there)
2 - Select "Cascade Windows"
This should reset the window to somewhere on the desktop that you can see it.
Hope that helps.

Quote:A nice little walk through that?s all I?m after, nothing flash, something that tells me I need to press F11 while in the demo games to start playing around...If you press the "F1" key whilst the demo is running a help menu will appear. This feature is common to most Windows programs.

I don't know what happened but using the Task manager to Maximise it I then set the video to full screen under options and it seems ok now.
Thanks again

I'm sure uninstalling and reinstalling the Torque demo would probably get it up and running again.-Jase
