NPatch and truform?

Perhaps this was discussed recently where i missed it, but just to be sure, i decided to mention it. I noticed in some other topics mention of nPatch, so i looked for it in the engine and i found some stuff which was commented as nPatch/truform support.
Now, im not really sure on nPatch, just heard of it today, however i've known of truform for a while, and i was wonderin, does torque support truform properly? Because when i just now tried it, didnt work. Is there some small tweak ya need to make first? Thanks for help ;)

You can always rewire it into Torque if you need it, of course.

The problem is that it's only supported on certain hardware, and it's very difficult to give a fallback. :-/You can always rewire it into Torque if you need it, of course.
