I'll be travelling from Los Angeles to Oregon via road to IGC 04. Just not sure of the dates yet (so long as it doesn't conflict with any other conventions I already have planned). I am willing to share the cost of the travel (please make your own hotel arrangements) with one or two other people from the L.A. area, or along the I405/I5 corridor, i.e. San Jose, etc.

Rick, when can we expect to see all the details regarding IGC 2004?

I'll be there from the 7th - 11th.
I'll also have a rental car, so if anyone reserves a room there and needs a ride to the conference, let me know.
Also, I'll be available as a designated driver for those of you who like to party ;)

The cost is half the price of gas. Although, if you want to be nice I won't turn down a lunch at McDonalds! :)
((I suppose it would help if I mentioned where I was coming from! I'm coming from Sacramento, Ca.))

The person I was going to the show with has cancelled on me, so I too have room for someone to ride along. My car is small so it's really only feasable to fit 2 1 other person in it besides me. I'll be leaving very early that Friday morning (Oct 8th) and leaving after the show on Sunday. The cost is half the price of gas. Although, if you want to be nice I won't turn down a lunch at McDonalds! :)

I will be flying into Portland and arriving at 9:26 am Friday morning. From there I am renting a car and driving to the con. If anyone wants a ride from Portland airport at around 9:30 on Friday morning let me know. I will be returning Sunday night to catch an 8:06 pm depart flight. I would hate to make the two hour drive all by my self if I could share it with another developer.james@reflexive.net

While I won't be driving at the event I will be able to give directions if after the events anything happens. I know that at the first two IGC Jay and some of the other people at the event went to a couple bars or got something to eat after the events for the day wrapped up. This hanging out after the show was a great way to get to know one another without the brief "hello" you get at the show.

I will be driving from Santa Cruz through the bay area and up to IGC. Leaving either Oct 6th or 7th and returning on Oct 9th, Sunday night. Unless I find someone else to ride with, I will have a few seats open in my car.
