I hope you will reconsider erasing your past posts, at least those not already erased. Most all of them contain info of great use to the rest of us.
Whatever happened, this does not hurt them, only us.
Thanks,

What the hell?

This is only a guess, I've see this before, and am guessing this is what may of happened. Unless we hear from Josh, we will never know.
Its a shame he's doing this. I got lots of good ideas and answers from a few of his posts.
His thoughts and input will be missed.
Good luck Josh

Maybe he found a publisher and part of the contract is not to have any dealings with other publishers. Seeing as GarageGames is also a publisher, he maybe required to remove any evidence of contact. This is only a guess, I've see this before, and am guessing this is what may of happened. Was Josh abducted by Microsoft? Damn, they're always doing that! Seriously though...what happened?!

Is it because of the thread on TorqueBASIC? I know that he seemed pretty heated up when Jeff Tunnel told everyone that they didn't get it.
Anyways.. no point in wondering about the kid who packs up his toys and leaves the sandbox. He's gone now -- have to find someone else to follow around.

A warning to others? What kind of warning, do you suppose? I've seen him do this before. Not sure if it's because he's just unstable or if he's just easy to set off. It's too bad when people take stuff too personally..Is it because of the thread on TorqueBASIC? I know that he seemed pretty heated up when Jeff Tunnel told everyone that they didn't get it.

Deleting your posts in a forum is kind of childisch... whatever the reason. I've left GG for about a year too, and eventually found my way back. What if everyone who leaves wether it is permanent or for a short time decides to delete all of his posts? Now that would really screw up the forums, wouldn't it?

Whatever the case, good luck to you Josh.

I do think it's very strange to come out all hyped up about MoM, then disappear without even a mention of what happened. I wonder if it had to do with licensing issues...IGC Questions
Whatever the case, good luck to you Josh.

Or is it due to the radiosity thing!

Deleting posts that help others is a childish move IMHO.
If Josh has a problem with GG or someone else in the community, then keep it private. Leave the communtiy, swallow the pride or whatever.
But once you give information to a community you cannot just retract it. Like saying "I want all my tax money back that i paid the last 20 years, because now I move to Mexico".

I am very angry. I was more angry when I decided I wanted to nuke/have nuked my posts here. I can recognize my own stupidity and this was stupid. It is my opinion, that there are good people and products here. I won't be missed.

Don't kid yourself Josh. You will be missed. You've made some great contributions to the Torque community and I for one appreciate them. I know others do too :)

But deleting the posts was not a smart move. Lots of great info lost. A real shame. Lost is lost though, so lets not cry over it.

Naturally you'll be missed Josh. You made some great contributions to the community. So what ever happened, consider staying and continue to contribute. This community is more than GG if thats the ones you have problems with. But deleting the posts was not a smart move. Lots of great info lost. A real shame. What made him so angry??

In hindsight, I should have counted to 10... it's really not that interesting. really.

Like most anger, it's based on misunderstanding. It will blow over like a hot gust of wind. Though, having a thread with your name makes it difficult to not look back.In hindsight, I should have counted to 10... it's really not that interesting. really.

Hmmmm, I could think of quite a few things that could have done it, but talking about them is a bannable offense.
What if all you do is GIVE to the community and GG staff consistantly treats you like an unwanted Troll? Should he just take it like a man?
