Coder needed for simpler 2D game.

Hi
I'm an artist currently trying to put together a less advanced (not really simple) 2D strategy game set in space.
Basic plot is:
Create advanced technology, make your race powerful, build colonies...
Very simple, but each race has a story behind them (I won't bring them up here)
You won't be paid, this is more of a way to showcase what you can do, and it's also experience.
If it would get published, then I guess there would be cash involved, but I can't promise it.

More in the fields of alpha centuari, but in real time, with different races, and a more advanced gameplay.
It's the sort of project that could be made very simply, but also in a very advanced way, so it has alot of potential even if the actual idea isn't very original.
