Office Chair Racing!

I'm working on a game called Office Chair Racing:
A unique racing game where you race office chairs down the office halls, eventually working your way up to CEO where you get the big executive chair. Includes special occupations such as a plumber, who rides a toilet.
Thanks to Will Harrison, Lee Garner, George "Creator" Goldstien, and my friend who wishes to remain anonomous for making some of the 3D models in the game, and to Dave Heil, who has offered to help with some of the more advanced programming.
So far I have implemented:
TGELobby
Timer
Countdown clock at beginning of race
I have tested it with 3 people so far.
Expect a demo soon. Technical Difficulties - I don't like Milkshape!

LOL, excellent idea. I love it! I think the CEO should run on the toilet though ;)

That sounds an awful lot like a game that was published by some Japanese company a while back.- Brett

Ambrosia had this game. It's called Harry. It wasn't really racing, but there were several tasks you should do from your office chair.

Hey, kool idea. To bad about that 'Chair Chaser' game.... Well if you do make it, you could have the thing's that put out fires as speed up's. Hehehe, that'd be nice.

@Zoe: Great idea. I'll make it so you can grab a fire extinguisher off the wall and spray it behind you. Thanks Zoe.

I'm doing this whether a freaky Japanese company already did it or not. Please think of some ways to make this better and more funny. Thanks.@Zoe: Great idea. I'll make it so you can grab a fire extinguisher off the wall and spray it behind you. Thanks Zoe.

@Niko: There's no reason you shouldn't pursue this idea and make it more fun than Chair Chaser! I didn't much like the game because:
1) I couldn't read anything in Japanese
2) The graphics were buggy
3) The gameplay wasn't easy to pick up
If you can squash these things and make it more exciting, I'll buy the game! I especially like the idea of the fire extinguisher.

I just played Chair Chaser and I agree with Brett. On Stage two there is a part where the office is gone and you can only use the map to navigate.

My friends used to play chair hockey at work in the lab. Always thought they were nuts!! Cool idea though - way out there and worth a chuckle.

I'm using a Windows but when I get close to done I will make it for Mac.
@ Mike Stoddart: Maybe chair hockey would be a cool minigame to include.

@ Michael Collins: The janitor will probably ride on something like this www.quakercitypaper.com/janitor.jpgI'm using a Windows but when I get close to done I will make it for Mac.

haha, and what happens if you dont get the CEO chair? Thrown in the bin, pushed off the door? And how do you get up the the stairs with the chairs? Are there elevators only or ramps like in a garage?. Or are they beaming up?
I am excited to see that....
