Yeah, there I was with a crappy ATI 9200 card and not being able to use half the shaders in TSE (as well as getting slammed by RenderMonkey that I couldn't use half the features I was trying to because my card only supported up to version 1.4 of the shaders).

So now I'm the proud pappa of a GeForce FX 5700 card which supports all the goodies. Thanks to GG and all the hard work on TSE to force my hardware upgrade. Now all my systems (6 now) have video cards that can support TSE (if I could just find time to write a game for it now I'd be all set).

PS I've committed to myself to write some "Big Dummies Guide to writing Shaders for Torque" once I get them moved into TSE as I had to struggle on how to do this myself and I'm sure I'm not alone.

PPS anyone wanna buy a used 9200?

Hehe Bil, gratz on the little bundle of joy. TSE: making the world a better place for graphics junkies. ;)

That guide to shaders would certainly rock. As TSE matures, we will certainly need documentation such as that.

Bill, can I collaborate with you. I was hoping on making a nice shader library for the community.
