List of broken stuff

by Stefan Lundmark · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 06/20/2004 (3:55 am) · 5 replies

I still can't see this list GG said they would put up.
Am I missing it? If so, please point me into the right direction.
I've been looking for it all morning.

The Roadmap featured in the documentations doesn't mention "broken" things.

Brian can probably help you out; dunno if he's checking forums today, though.

Great, should I email him?
I was going to start porting some parts of our game, but I don't really know where to start.

I know waterblocks does not work, and sound.. but what else?

It is not a good idea to start the official porting of your game to TSE yet. Things will change, and we will end up breaking something that you have ported, and then you will get mad at us. We have tried to make this as clear was possible, and that is the purpose of all the warnings. As explained on the sales page, this version of TSE is to allow you to experiment and learn.

Of course, you can just port things over and see what happens, but if something is broken, you probably should not put much effort into fixing it.

Please, please do not attempt to email Brian Ramage. He cannot and will not give specific email support.

@Jeff Tunnel: Okay, noted. Then what I'm going to do is to port the game with the features that DO work, like the GUI or networking. Would this be a problem, you think?

And, say in 3 months - will most of the features be in TSE EA by then?

@Westy: I forgot to thank you, thanks :)
