Are TGE DTS compatible with TSE

I have a strange errors when putting TGE exported dts into TSE: Some parts of the model render and some not at all? Should I export my model again using TSE exporter, before putting them inside TSE?

Make sure you define the materials.

The same things have happened to me, models work perfectly in TGE, but are missing parts in TSE.

DTS code hasn't changed AFAIK. I would triple check material definitions to make sure nothing is missing. Also, if your shape had env. maps or other effects, these should now be done using material defs... I don't know what TSE will do with them if they are defined in the DTS.

Make sure your Material definitions have all the right paths. Also make sure your texture dimensions are power-of-2 size.

I guess i will start fresh with the models in question. re-apply textures and export again.

Yes,I have the same problem on translucent parts too, when I check the opacity box,it won't work, when I use SORT::,I could see nothing--but all of them work well in TGE.Should I do something with materials?

Translucency is not currently supported in TSE Materials. It's coming though.
