I'm still in Dongguan, China for my business trip. I hope to get back to home in the Philippines by 1st week of July (this year or my wife will come here and thump me. ;)) so I can buy my TSE license.
Well, food is great but I just found out that theres no cheese! I've been to almost all the supermarkets and stores and they don't sell cheese. My mandarin interpreter jockingly told me that cheese is a luxury here just like english paperback books. :O
I wan't my cheese! Come to think of it, I want a cheese burger!

First off, if you're not a fan of vegetables ... you should not come here. From what I experienced, there are only a few red meat dishes and they sort of season them wierdly. All in all, I like 60% of the dishes. Of course, the staple here is rice. No meal is complete without rice.
Most notable is the vegetable sauted in garlic. They sort of do this to almost any kind of vegetable. It's really good. They just take a vegetable, normally a brocolli, and just sauted in in garlic and serve it to you.
The wierdest one, and I've never imagined it till I tasted it, is the bread filled with chopped vegetable. I couldn't even eat it. Lol.
This place is a vegetarians paradise. ;)

Im really craving for a quarter-pounder with cheese. The first thing I do when I get out of here is find a McDonalds and munch on a burger and some fries. :D
