map2dif and GTK radiant

Can GTKradiant be setup to use map2dif? WC and radiant both share the same '*.map' format.

Actually, WorldCraft and map2dts use a slightly different .map format than GtkRadiant. I've modified map2dts to read generic brushes in GtkRadiant format. I haven't figured out other brush entities (like doors); that is this weekend's project. I can post the patch I have for map2dts as a resource if you are interested. I have submitted it to Tim Gift for merging into the CVS tree when it is available.

sure, keep me updated if you can. I'd prefer to use radiant for v12 mapping rather than worldcraft which I have as yet to learn.

One word of caution, if you use the ID source/tools to create levels for a commercial product, you will need to pay ID a fee. This gets overlooked, and possibly abused but the EULA is explicit.
