    I concur that this is very likely a driver issue. You might try 4496. I don't have an NVIDIA card here at work, but I will try on my home machine (Fedora Core 1) tonight.

    No problems running 5332 on 2.6.2.

    I regressed to 4496 which just about doubles my framerate (as does your workaround). I don't experience any screen corruption. I'm running a ti4200.

    Using a FX 5600 256meg and a MX 440 in the same machine. All screens run fine.

    If you have the source, you can port things over. From delphi to c++ - well, it'll be more like a rewrite with good instructions. It's really about how much time you're willing to put in to something like that.

    I like wine and I really like cxoffice. It just takes the guess work out of wine. You could always use vmware. So the question is: Is it worth your time to port something or just take the time to fire up vmware?
