Realm Wars Inventory System

As far as I can tell the Inventory system in Realm Wars (that keeps track of what weapons you currently have, and which you are currently using) is strictly a script-based solution. Does anyone know anything to the contrary on this? It is exactly what I want for what I am currently doing. The question is then...would it be quicker to import the Realm Wars scripts into my workspace, then make the changes to accomidate my game, or to start with my current scripts (barely changed from the origonal Torque demo) and to go through the Realm Wars files seperately and take what I need?
