Dumb Torque/Quark question

This is sort of in the wrong forum, I guess. But it's sort of on-topic. If you read my previous thread you know I was thinking of buying the Torque engine. The good news is, I am. Probably within a week or two. But in the mean time I tried to brush up on my Quark skills. So I quickly went to work on an expansive militarty complex type thing which looks stupidly cool.
But, I have not textured it. I got a WAD set up (I used Wally and set it as a Half-Life WAD3 .wad file). But I can't seem to get the WAD set up in Quarks texture browser for my Torque map.
My question is, does Torque use WADs? If so how do I get my WAD into Quark so I can use the textures? I haven't used Quark in years, so I probably knew at one time. heh.
Maybe I should have posted this in the mapping forum.

The easiest way I found to import textures into Quark was to simply drag them into the Texture Browser window (with a folder selected on the left).

Quark doesn't use wads - only Hammer does. The easiest way I found to import textures into Quark was to simply drag them into the Texture Browser window (with a folder selected on the left).

Wow... okay. Fair enough ;) Sort of feel stupid... and hungry. I think I'll go cry and eat a cheese burger at 5am. heh.

You still need to use WADs to apply the textures in Quark/Hammer, though.
