Bronze Forge Ltd, a Norwegian online game&service developer with headquarter in Stavanger, is looking for individuals that would like to share our enthusiasm in leading a game company new-start into significant success and join its global-virtual team consisting of more than 20 members -half of them industry veterans in their late 30s-.
The respective applicants will be part of and work closely with the Management Board, responsible to the General Manager, and be involved in company-level organizational tasks rather than game development processes.
Bronze Forge is currently an "Indie" type project, meaning it has little funding apart for critical investments or low cost contract work. Participants will therefore work either against reimbursement when the project generates an income or ownership in the company. The project recognizes the importance of legally binding agreements to ensure the rights of both the project and all contributing team members.

Job Descriptions

Business Manager*

The Business Managers tasks and responsibilities include:

-Organize and lead the activities of the Business & Finance department
-Establish and maintain plans, policies, procedures and rules for Business & Finance related activities
-Set and pursuit Business & Finance goals and objectives in cooperation with the Management Board
-Establish and maintain Business & Finance relations with private businesses, funders, governmental bodies and other potential clients for Bronze Forge's services and products
-Initiate, plan and control the preparation of Business & Finance related documentation and artifacts, such as business plans and financial status reports
*Please note that only for this position, applicants located in the the southern part of Norway will be preferred


Marketing Manager

The Marketing Managers tasks and responsibilities include:

-Organize and lead the activities of the Marketing & PRA department
-Establish and maintain plans, policies, procedures and rules for Marketing & PRA related activities
-Set and pursuit Marketing & promotional goals in cooperation and with the Management Board; develop, install and apply adequate control and information mechanisms
-Establish and maintain corporate identity and increase company image
-Initiate, plan and control research and development activities required in strategic decision-making
-Initiate, plan and control the creation of required promotional tools such as brochures, media kits, website content etc


Common explanations (Apply to candidates for all positions)

-Candidates should possess a love for games and find the concept of game development exciting, even if not directly involved in the creation of games.
-Applicants should have a vision about, and creative ideas on how to overcome the handicaps of a virtual team with cultural-lingual diversity, whose members are located in a variety of time zones.
-Personal qualities such as resolve, flexibility and integrity are considered as vital
-Applicants within timezones GMT -1.00 and GMT +3.00 will be preferred
