Sounds fun. I especially like the part about cruise ship decks. Thats a unique idea for a track I'm pretty sure.

(this is an obvious question, but I think it might help you beat a title out of your game)

What makes your game different from every single other Go-Kart game ever made?

Ya, I think it was in Re-Volt. Anyone who reads this thread, tell me what you think.

Well, I've never played a go-cart game. There are lots of cart racing, but I'm talking about Go-Carts. Like the one I had as a kid? But, I think the envionments for one, and the multi player for another.

Sounds like a cool idea, but what kind of power ups were you thinking? ..
cartoony types (extending mallet?)
or guns and rocket launchers??

@Gonzo: Cruise ship level has been done ... Mario Kart Double dash..

Hmm, guns and rocket launchers, along with a few others of that nature. The physics for the racing demo, unfortunately, wont work at all. We will have to overhaul that, but otherwise, Torque is in perfect shape for this kind of title. What about maybe anime style graphics?

Just a random idea to throw into the cogs...
how about some type of skills... think tony hawks.. but with go-karts?

*goes back to playing tony hawks 2* :)

I think your right. No power ups, but rather a skills system... maybe even tricks... think Wave-Race 64 in go-carts.... but not in water. ;) Just imagine, a barrel roll in a go-cart. lol.
