RW status check

Recently I downloaded the latest CVS of Realm Wars in hopes to see some progress. Well there is not much since the last time I downloaded the latest CVS of Realm wars and that was about 3 months ago. It seems like there is progress in some areas while others have regressed.
In hopes to spur some motivation and get some more progress toward another build I would like to see who is active in the project and who isn't. Then I will ask for some files based on what I have been told.
As a designer, artist, and student there are things right now that I would like to request so that I may develop some inspiration. That is, some new conceptual art. I will put together a webpage and links like the gallery that is on the Realm Wars homepage. Then email the new pages. Screenshots can be emailed to me.
If there is need for someone to take the reigns for a few to help further the progress, I will be glad to step in for a few.

If you guys are interested in helping out with Realm Wars I ask that you please contact me so that I can actually know who wants to help and what you are capable of doing. We have a very finite list of requirements that we wish to achieve in the next release and as such the more capable bodies we can throw at the problem the better.Logan

No the list is not posted publicly, this is to ensure that we don't get the same problems like we used to have with the task list (ie. tons of people signing up for them and no one accomplishing anything).

I have funding (via financial aid) and will soon have an enormous amount of time to dedicate to my MFA in Computer Art / 3d real-time modeling(in progress). I am trying to figure out if Realmwars would be the right community for me to join. All of the posts I follow about RW are fairly old. Is the project still underway, what stage is it at. I've visited the project page and most of the projects were posted in 2002 and haven't been worked on since last summer. I would love to get some concept designs and start modeling/texturing right away. Where should I start? How do I get in?

I have looked into RW and have been following GG threads about Torque for about 2 months now. I want to get involved in Realmwars. Not just toss a model or 2 into the pot, but seriously dedicate myself to a community project. I have professional experience using Max, Maya, and Photoshop. Yeah, they (not sure who) is trying to get it to work with torque 1.2. but there have been more important, high-priority things going on, like TSE...

Yes work is still being done. The thing that people need to please remember here is that everyone who is taking their time to contribute is doing so in their free time and without any pay or rewards, so if development slows down for a bit and then speeds up don't be surprised.BTW, I recieved your email that you sent me Jimmy, I will be responding to it tonight.

I've researched the RW dev site and design doc. Any unfinished designs or newer concept designs (dts models) I could work with to start? -trying not to nag.

They are also updating RW with the current Torque version 1.2, and Logan said all they had to do was compile it....

Hehe, I was just lookin' at this one RW fansite, and I saw a cool store trigger....
I too would also like to see some upgrades, and if the people currently cannot do it, then I'd be glad to head it up. Sorry if I sound pushy, but it seem that I always sound pushy, so don't feel bad, your not the first to be pushed around by me...
