now,, could someone tell me how to put that friggin worldcraft workin to compile those .dif files ?! ,,i did everything X-actly as in the Doc/tools/worldcraft but it doesnt work...heres what happens:

** Executing...
** Command: C:\v12\example\map2dif.exe c:\v12\example\data\interiors\traali\maps\test.map
** Parameters:

* Could not execute the command:
"C:\v12\example\map2dif.exe c:\v12\example\data\interiors\traali\maps\test.map"
* Windows gave the error message:
"Toiminto on suoritettu." (function or operation or somethin accomplished) sorry bout my english ;) it aint good..

anyway, if id get em to .dif format i could test them so my work doesnt go to waste when i find out the house or whatever ive made is too BIG or too small or sumthn like that,,

would be cool and all if there was an info_player_start entity model that could be compared to the sizes of chairs and doorways etc. (like in half-life)

You need to click the "expert" button on the compile menu. Then select your type of compile. If you want to test your maps while offline you need to make the perameters of "$game_exe" be "-nologin $file.dif".

I think there is a way to see the scale of items in Worldcraft.

As far as I know if you set the grid to the smallest setting then 32 units = 1 metre.

This may not be right, but it seems to give me about the right scale when using my objects in 12test.
Of course you can always scale the object in the v12test editor, but if you are using it often you would want it the right size to begin with.

Hope that helps.
