'Worms'ish War RTS

Well, I know I probably don't have a lot of credibility here, since I joined yesterday, but I just wanted to get this idea somewhere, seeing as how I've been thinking about it forever.

Anyway, I'm sure most of you have at least heard of the Worms games. The side scrolling, fast-paced, fun strategies. Anyway, while I was playing this game with a buddy of mine, I had an idea of setting a story to the 'battles', and making a complete game with it. I guess that is what happens when you are studying history at the same time.

Anyway, the story could be about WWII, or WWI, or the Civil War, or whatever you want. Just base the main game around a war of some sort, then you pretty much can go from there.

The main part of the game, ie the battles, would pretty much be like the Worms games. You would have many weapons, and special skills, and the such.

But some things my friend and I thought of to make it a completely different game from Worms. Give it a map. This map would be where you choose where you want to battle next. This map could outline your opponents movements also.

Well, thats about it. I wish I knew how to code, and everything but alas, I do not.

If someone wants to pick this up, or just talk to me about some other ideas, which I have a lot of, you can contact me at freighttrain@rap.midco.net

Thank you.
