by j1mel · in Torque Game Engine · 04/21/2004 (1:45 pm) · 21 replies

Hi all, I'm new here just purchased the sdk and I'm having problems logging into cvs. Any help would be appreciated.

cvs -z3 -d :pserver:rolled@cvs.garagegames.com:/cvs/torque login

Logging in to :pserver:rolled@cvs.garagegames.com:2401:/cvs/torque

cvs [login aborted]: connect to cvs.garagegames.com:2401 failed: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

My guess is no. They are only 1.5 hours behind their Estimate right now so be patient. I'm sure it will be resolved soon.

Sounds like either you've got the connection to the server setup wrong, or you hare having dns issues.

Glad you figured it out. And no you don't need python, but if you have it there are additional things you can do.

Funny your dragging up really old posts for this.

If you're having trouble with TSE, maybe you should post in the private forums.
