Just a small update to both dtsUtility and the Maya2DTS preview docs.
dtsUtility
Maya2DTS Preview Docs
The dtsUtility has a few more options for creating nodes in the scene as well as almost-full functionality on OS X (no exporter yet, so we can't export anything). I also did some general cleanup and optimization in the script. Most people probably won't even notice those. :)
As far as the docs go, I've uploaded the first parts of the File Pack. The downloadable zip file (~1 MB) contains the sample Maya scene files used in the docs so far, the latest version of dtsUtility, PNG support plugins for Windows, and the latest versions (that I have) of the Maya2DTS exporters for both Maya 4.5 and 5.
The documentation itself is moving along slowly but surely. The screenshots haven't been updated to reflect the latest dtsUtility, but that shouldn't affect the current content at all. Next up on my list is adding docs for exporting DSQ files, working with a skeleton and a simple skinned mesh (probably not a full character, but something close enough to get the point across), and using .CFG and .CS files.
Don't expect these to materialize too soon. They'll be done when they're done. ;)
